The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. 
 
Soldier of the Quarter is PFC Antonio Lopez, a Combat Medic Specialist from Department of Primary Care. PFC Lopez selection as Soldier of the Quarter is a testament to his outstanding potential and rapid development. Possessing a mature and responsible demeanor beyond his experience level, he consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and a willingness to tackle difficult assignments on behalf of Munson. Munson Army Health Center will begin its annual seasonal influenza vaccine campaign with four walk-in dates at the Frontier Conference Center on Fort Leavenworth for TRICARE beneficiaries aged 6 months and older. All TRICARE categories, including TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Select, and TRICARE For Life may receive their vaccines at the walk-in events at the FCC. Beneficiaries aged 10 years and up must present their Department of Defense identification card. Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
We are currently scheduling Well-Child Exams for children ages birth to through age 5, Annual Well-Woman Exams, Annual Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Call the appointment at 913-684-6250 to schedule.
