Tiffany Bilderback, Munson Army Health Center director, Aug. 31, to discuss the Fort Leavenworth Retiree Appreciation Day schduled for Sept. 26, at the post's Lewis and Clark Center. Artificial Intelligence helps Munson health care provider focus more on patients, less on screens

For Mikaela Altis, a physician assistant in Munson Army Health Center’s Department of Primary Care, adopting ambient listening technology has meant more eye contact with patients, more time for follow-up questions and fewer hours spent completing clinical notes after the workday ends.

Munson Army Health Center offers Combat Lifesaver training for area units

Munson Army Health Center will offer its next Combat Lifesaver course Aug. 24-28, providing active-duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers with skills to deliver lifesaving care when medical personnel are not immediately available.

After completing a blood draw, Sgt. Felicia Wells, a medical laboratory specialist at Munson Army Health Center, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, places a dressing around the arm of Capt. Blake Cremin, company commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Company 329th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, out of Parsons, Kansas, Feb. 19. Soldiers from the 329th traveled to Munson to complete annual medical readiness processing to ensure the unit remains medically ready to answer the nation’s call

Munson open house offers MEDPROS updates, medical in-processing Aug. 12

Service members can complete select individual medical readiness requirements and receive medical in-processing support during Munson Army Health Center’s open house Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. Walk-in MEDPROS services will be available for vision, hearing, HIV and immunization requirements, giving service members an opportunity to address outstanding items before the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College academic year begins. Medical Records personnel will also be available to support any remaining newly arrived service members with medical in-processing.
