Munson Army Health Center Physical Therapist to Visit Post Exchange May 14

By Maria-Christina Yager

A physical therapist from Munson Army Health Center will be available at the Fort Leavenworth Post Exchange on Tuesday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to meet with community members and discuss the rehabilitation services offered at Munson.

“Physical therapy is a direct access service at Munson, meaning there is no referral required,” said 1st Lt. Trent McPherson, a physical therapist at Munson’s Department of Rehabilitation.

The visit aims to increase awareness of the wide range of rehabilitation services available to active-duty service members, families, and other beneficiaries. The clinic treats patients aged 13-64 years old with musculoskeletal conditions.

“We also offer pelvic floor and vestibular physical therapy,” McPherson said.

Community members are encouraged to stop by the PX to ask questions and learn more about how Munson’s physical therapy team can help with injury recovery, mobility improvement, and overall physical health.

This outreach effort is part of Munson’s ongoing commitment to support the health and readiness of the Fort Leavenworth community.
