FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kansas — Munson Army Health Center continues to prepare its community for the upcoming flu season.

Julia Flores, a clinical laboratory scientist at Munson Army Health Center, was named Civilian Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of Fiscal Year 2025. Operated under the Defense Health Agency, Munson is part of an integrated combat support agency, with a global team of nearly 130,000 civilian and military personnel serving 9.5million beneficiaries and supporting more than 700 hospitals and clinics in the Military Health System.

FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kansas — FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kansas – Munson Army Health Center named Leavenworth, Kansas, resident, Julia Flores as its Defense Health Agency Civilian Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of Calendar Year 2025.

TRICARE issued a reminder Sept. 9 that a West Region referral approval waiver deadline is nearing. If you used the West Region referral approval waiver to see a specialist between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2025 and need to continue seeing that specialist, you’ll need to get a new referral to a network specialist before Oct. 1, 2025. TRICARE West Region Referral Approval Waiver deadline nears

FORT LEAVENWORTH, KANSAS — TRICARE Prime beneficiaries on Fort Leavenworth and surrounding communities who used the referral approval waiver between Jan.1 and June 30 and are still receiving specialty care off post using the waiver need a new referral before Oct. 1.
